Viewing East down Longmeadow Parkway at Randall Rd. This is the only stretch that doesn't have houses very close by.
Looking West down Longmeadow at Sleepy Hollow Rd, you can get a sense of how much this beautiful community will be effected. Think noise pollution, salt runoff, and lots of diesel fumes permeating the area.
Viewing East from the end of Longmeadow. The project plans to run in this direction straight to Rt 31 where it will then cut through Brunner Forest Preserve. . .
A view of the Fox River near Angelina Place. Massive habitat disruption is planned for this peaceful, invigorating refuge.
Kane County Board member Becky Gillam says these trees can be replaced. Over 7,000 trees in the Longmeadow corridor will be destroyed including trees along the Fox River. County Board members are replaceable, these trees filling Angelina Place are not.
Looking North along Williams/Sandbloom Rd. at Bolz Rd. Half way down is where the massive 4-lane tollway will tower over the road.
Sunset at the Carpentersville Quarry. Their semi-trucks are the only ones that go down Bolz Rd. The toll bridge will bring constant, daily truck traffic through the neighborhood.
Standing on Bolz Rd., looking at the Silverstone Lakes neighborhood. You can hit them with a stone it's that close. In between here and those homes a 4-lane toll bridge is planned to cut through.
